Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
Du hast wieder Gefallen gefunden, HERR, an deinem Land, du hast Jakobs Unglück gewendet.
Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
Du hast deinem Volk die Schuld vergeben, all seine Sünden zugedeckt. [Sela]
Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
Du hast zurückgezogen deinen ganzen Grimm, du hast dich abgewendet von der Glut deines Zorns.
Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
Wende dich uns zu, du Gott unsres Heils, lass von deinem Unmut gegen uns ab!
Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Willst du uns ewig zürnen, soll dein Zorn dauern von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht?
Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Willst du uns nicht wieder beleben, dass dein Volk an dir sich freue?
I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Lass uns schauen, HERR, deine Huld und schenk uns dein Heil!
Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
Ich will hören, was Gott redet: Frieden verkündet der HERR seinem Volk und seinen Frommen, sie sollen sich nicht zur Torheit wenden. [Sela]
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Fürwahr, sein Heil ist denen nahe, die ihn fürchten, seine Herrlichkeit wohne in unserm Land.
Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Es begegnen einander Huld und Treue; Gerechtigkeit und Friede küssen sich.
Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
Treue sprosst aus der Erde hervor; Gerechtigkeit blickt vom Himmel hernieder.
