I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Ich will danken, HERR, aus ganzem Herzen, erzählen will ich all deine Wunder.
When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
Ich will mich an dir freuen und jauchzen, deinem Namen, Höchster, will ich singen.
For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.
Wenn meine Feinde zurückweichen, werden sie straucheln und zugrunde gehen vor deinem Angesicht.
Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
Denn du hast mir Recht verschafft und für mich entschieden, dich auf den Thron gesetzt als gerechter Richter.
O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
Du hast Völker bedroht, den Frevler vernichtet, ihre Namen gelöscht für immer und ewig.
But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
Der Feind ist dahin, zertrümmert für immer. Du hast Städte entvölkert, ihr Andenken wurde zunichte.
And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
Ja, so sind sie, aber der HERR thront auf ewig, zum Gericht hat er seinen Thron aufgestellt.
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Er selbst wird den Erdkreis richten in Gerechtigkeit, den Nationen das Urteil sprechen, wie es recht ist.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
So wird der HERR für den Bedrückten zur Burg, zur Burg für Zeiten der Not.
Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
Darum vertrauen dir, die deinen Namen kennen, denn du, HERR, hast keinen, der dich sucht, je verlassen.
When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.
Singt dem HERRN, der thront auf dem Zion, verkündet unter den Völkern seine Taten!
Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
Denn er, der Blutschuld ahndet, hat an sie gedacht, hat den Notschrei der Elenden nicht vergessen.
That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
Sei mir gnädig, HERR! Sieh doch mein Elend, wie sie mich hassen, du, der mich emporhebt aus den Pforten des Todes!
The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
Damit ich all dein Lob erzähle in den Toren der Tochter Zion und frohlocke über dein rettendes Handeln.
The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
Völker versanken in der Grube, die sie selbst gegraben, im Netz, das sie heimlich gelegt, hat ihr Fuß sich verfangen.
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Kundgetan hat sich der HERR: Er hielt sein Gericht, im Werk seiner Hände hat sich der Frevler verstrickt. [Zwischenspiel. Sela]
For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Zurückweichen müssen die Frevler zum Totenreich, alle Völker, die Gott vergessen.
Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
Denn der Arme ist nicht auf ewig vergessen, der Elenden Hoffnung ist nicht für immer verloren.
