Salomo aber hatte den HERRN lieb und wandelte nach den Sitten seines Vaters David, nur daß er auf den Höhen opferte und räucherte.

Salomo liebte den HERRN und lebte genau nach den Anweisungen seines Vaters David. Doch auch er opferte an solchen Orten. Er schlachtete Tiere und verbrannte Weihrauch.

Salomo aber liebte den HERRN und befolgte die Satzungen seines Vaters David; nur brachte er auf den Kulthöhen Schlachtopfer und Rauchopfer dar.
