Da sie das hörten, schwiegen sie still und lobten Gott und sprachen: So hat Gott auch den Heiden Buße gegeben zum Leben!

Diese Worte überzeugten sie. Sie lobten Gott und sagten: »Gott hat nun also auch den Nichtjuden den Weg zur Umkehr eröffnet, den einzigen Weg, der zum Leben führt.«

Als sie das hörten, beruhigten sie sich, priesen Gott und sagten: Gott hat also auch den Heiden die Umkehr zum Leben geschenkt.
