Folgende Worte stammen von Agur, dem Sohn von Jake. Dieser Mann sagte: Ich habe mich abgemüht, o Gott, ich habe mich abgemüht und bin am Ende!

Sag mir: Wer ist jemals zum Himmel hinauf- und wieder hinabgestiegen? Wer hat den Wind mit seinen Händen gezähmt oder die Wassermassen gebändigt? Wer setzte die Grenzen der Erde fest? Weißt du, wer das alles vollbracht hat? Dann nenn mir seinen Namen und den seines Sohnes!

Was müssen das für Leute sein, die alle Armen und Hilflosen rücksichtslos ausbeuten und von der Erde vertilgen!
