Hosea’s Wife and Children
The word of the LORD which came to Hosea the son of Beeri, during the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and during the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

Das Wort des HERRN, das an Hosea, den Sohn Beeris, erging in den Tagen des Usija, des Jotam, des Ahas und des Hiskija, der Könige von Juda, und in den Tagen des Jerobeam, des Sohnes des Joasch, des Königs von Israel.
When the LORD first spoke through Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea, “Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry; for the land commits flagrant harlotry, forsaking the LORD.”
So begann der HERR durch Hosea zu reden: Der HERR sagte zu Hosea: Geh, nimm dir eine unzüchtige Frau und Kinder der Unzucht! Denn das Land treibt Unzucht und hat den HERRN verlassen.
So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.
Da ging er und nahm Gomer, die Tochter Diblajims; sie wurde schwanger und gebar ihm einen Sohn.
And the LORD said to him, “Name him Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will punish the house of Jehu for the bloodshed of Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.
Der HERR sagte zu ihm: Gib ihm den Namen Jesreel! Denn es dauert nicht mehr lange, dann werde ich das Haus Jehu für die Blutschuld von Jesreel heimsuchen und dem Königtum des Hauses Israel ein Ende machen.
“On that day I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.”
An jenem Tag werde ich den Bogen Israels in der Ebene Jesreel zerbrechen.
Then she conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. And the LORD said to him, “Name her Lo-ruhamah, for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel, that I would ever forgive them.
Sie wurde wieder schwanger und gebar eine Tochter. Da sagte er zu ihm: Gib ihr den Namen Lo-Ruhama — Kein Erbarmen — ! Denn kein Erbarmen werde ich mehr mit dem Haus Israel haben, nein, ich entziehe es ihnen.
“But I will have compassion on the house of Judah and deliver them by the LORD their God, and will not deliver them by bow, sword, battle, horses or horsemen.”
Mit dem Haus Juda jedoch werde ich Erbarmen haben. Ich werde sie retten als der HERR, ihr Gott — aber nicht werde ich sie retten mit Bogen, Schwert, Krieg, Rossen und Reitern.
When she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived and gave birth to a son.
Sie entwöhnte Lo-Ruhama und wurde wieder schwanger und gebar einen Sohn.
