“This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. Now he shall be brought to the priest,
»Wenn ein Aussätziger gesund geworden ist und für rein erklärt werden will, dann gelten folgende Anweisungen: Er muss zum Priester gebracht werden,
and the priest shall go out to the outside of the camp. Thus the priest shall look, and if the infection of leprosy has been healed in the leper,
der ihn außerhalb des Lagers untersuchen soll. Ist der Kranke wirklich wieder gesund geworden,
then the priest shall give orders to take two live clean birds and cedar wood and a scarlet string and hyssop for the one who is to be cleansed.
lässt der Priester für ihn zwei lebende, reine Vögel bringen sowie Zedernholz, karmesinrote Wolle und ein Büschel Ysop.
“The priest shall also give orders to slay the one bird in an earthenware vessel over running water.
Auf Anweisung des Priesters wird ein Vogel über einem Tongefäß mit frischem Quellwasser getötet, um das Blut des Tieres aufzufangen.
“As for the live bird, he shall take it together with the cedar wood and the scarlet string and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the live bird in the blood of the bird that was slain over the running water.
Den lebenden Vogel nimmt der Priester in die Hand und taucht ihn zusammen mit dem Zedernholz, der karmesinroten Wolle und dem Ysop in das Blut des ersten Vogels, das sich mit dem frischen Quellwasser vermischt hat.
“He shall then sprinkle seven times the one who is to be cleansed from the leprosy and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the live bird go free over the open field.
Siebenmal besprengt er mit dem blutvermischten Wasser den Geheilten und erklärt ihn für rein. Den lebenden Vogel lässt er fliegen.
“The one to be cleansed shall then wash his clothes and shave off all his hair and bathe in water and be clean. Now afterward, he may enter the camp, but he shall stay outside his tent for seven days.
Der Geheilte wäscht seine Kleider, rasiert alle seine Haare ab und wäscht sich; danach ist er rein. Er darf wieder ins Lager kommen, soll aber sieben Tage lang sein Zelt nicht betreten.
“It will be on the seventh day that he shall shave off all his hair: he shall shave his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair. He shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in water and be clean.
Am siebten Tag rasiert er noch einmal den Kopf, den Bart, die Augenbrauen und alle anderen Haare. Nachdem er seine Kleider gewaschen und sich gebadet hat, ist er endgültig rein.
“Now on the eighth day he is to take two male lambs without defect, and a yearling ewe lamb without defect, and three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil;
Am achten Tag sucht er zwei männliche Lämmer und ein einjähriges weibliches Lamm aus, alles fehlerlose Tiere; zusätzlich bringt er für das Speiseopfer vier Kilogramm feines Weizenmehl, mit Öl vermengt, sowie einen halben Liter Öl.
and the priest who pronounces him clean shall present the man to be cleansed and the aforesaid before the LORD at the doorway of the tent of meeting.
Der Priester, der die Reinigung vornimmt, führt den Mann mit seinen Opfergaben zum Eingang des heiligen Zeltes, in meine Gegenwart.
“Then the priest shall take the one male lamb and bring it for a guilt offering, with the log of oil, and present them as a wave offering before the LORD.
Eines der Lämmer und das Öl sind für das Schuldopfer bestimmt. Der Priester weiht sie mir, dem HERRN, indem er sie vor dem Heiligtum hin- und herschwingt.
“Next he shall slaughter the male lamb in the place where they slaughter the sin offering and the burnt offering, at the place of the sanctuary — for the guilt offering, like the sin offering, belongs to the priest; it is most holy.
Dann schlachtet er das Lamm am Eingang des heiligen Zeltes, wo auch die Tiere für das Sündopfer und für das Brandopfer geschlachtet werden. Wie das Sündopfer steht das Schuldopfer dem Priester zu; es ist besonders heilig.
“The priest shall then take some of the blood of the guilt offering, and the priest shall put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.
Der Priester nimmt etwas vom Blut des Opfertieres und streicht es dem, der gereinigt werden möchte, auf das rechte Ohrläppchen, den rechten Daumen und die rechte große Zehe.
“The priest shall also take some of the log of oil, and pour it into his left palm;
Nun gießt er etwas Öl in die linke Hand,
the priest shall then dip his right-hand finger into the oil that is in his left palm, and with his finger sprinkle some of the oil seven times before the LORD.
taucht einen Finger der rechten Hand hinein und besprengt damit siebenmal den Altar.
“Of the remaining oil which is in his palm, the priest shall put some on the right ear lobe of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the blood of the guilt offering;
Von dem Öl in seiner Hand streicht er dem Geheilten etwas auf das rechte Ohrläppchen, den rechten Daumen und die rechte große Zehe, so wie er es vorher mit dem Blut des Opfertieres getan hat.
while the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s palm, he shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf before the LORD.
Das restliche Öl streicht der Priester auf den Kopf des Mannes. So soll er ihn mit mir, dem HERRN, versöhnen.
“The priest shall next offer the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness. Then afterward, he shall slaughter the burnt offering.
Dann bringt er das Sündopfer dar, um den Geheilten von aller Verunreinigung und Schuld zu befreien. Anschließend schlachtet er das Tier für das Brandopfer
“The priest shall offer up the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be clean.
und verbrennt das Speise- und das Brandopfer auf dem Altar. So bewirkt er, dass der Betreffende wieder als rein gelten darf.
“But if he is poor and his means are insufficient, then he is to take one male lamb for a guilt offering as a wave offering to make atonement for him, and one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and a log of oil,
Wenn jemand zu arm ist und sich die Opfergaben nicht leisten kann, bringt er nur ein Lamm für das Schuldopfer. Es soll mir, dem Herrn, geweiht werden, damit ich dem Geheilten seine Schuld vergebe. Als Speiseopfer genügen in einem solchen Fall eineinhalb Kilogramm feines, mit Öl vermengtes Mehl sowie ein halber Liter Öl.
and two turtledoves or two young pigeons which are within his means, the one shall be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.
Wenn der Mann es aufbringen kann, kommen noch zwei Turteltauben oder zwei andere Tauben dazu, eine für das Sündopfer, die andere für das Brandopfer.
“Then the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, at the doorway of the tent of meeting, before the LORD.
Am achten Tag, wenn er für rein erklärt werden möchte, bringt er diese Opfergaben zum Priester an den Eingang des heiligen Zeltes, in meine Gegenwart.
“The priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering and the log of oil, and the priest shall offer them for a wave offering before the LORD.
Der Priester nimmt das Lamm und den halben Liter Öl entgegen und schwingt sie vor dem Heiligtum hin und her, um sie mir, dem HERRN, zu weihen.
“Next he shall slaughter the lamb of the guilt offering; and the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.
Dann schlachtet er das Lamm für das Schuldopfer und streicht dem Geheilten etwas von dem Blut auf das rechte Ohrläppchen, den rechten Daumen und die rechte große Zehe.
“The priest shall also pour some of the oil into his left palm;
Anschließend gießt er Öl in die linke Hand
and with his right-hand finger the priest shall sprinkle some of the oil that is in his left palm seven times before the LORD.
und sprengt etwas davon mit einem Finger der rechten Hand siebenmal an den Altar.
“The priest shall then put some of the oil that is in his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt offering.
Von dem Öl in seiner Hand streicht er dem Geheilten etwas auf das rechte Ohrläppchen, den rechten Daumen und die rechte große Zehe, so wie er es vorher mit dem Blut des Opfertieres getan hat.
“Moreover, the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s palm he shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to make atonement on his behalf before the LORD.
Das restliche Öl streicht der Priester auf den Kopf des Mannes. So soll er ihn mit mir, dem HERRN, versöhnen.
“He shall then offer one of the turtledoves or young pigeons, which are within his means.
Dann bringt er eine der beiden Tauben als Sündopfer und die andere als Brandopfer dar, zusammen mit den Speiseopfergaben. So befreit der Priester den Mann von seiner Unreinheit und sorgt dafür, dass ich, der HERR, ihm seine Schuld vergebe.
“This is the law for him in whom there is an infection of leprosy, whose means are limited for his cleansing.”
Diese Bestimmungen gelten für einen vom Aussatz Geheilten, der die volle Opfergabe für seine Reinigung nicht aufbringen kann.«
Cleansing a Leprous House
The LORD further spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying:
Der HERR sprach zu Mose und Aaron:
“When you enter the land of Canaan, which I give you for a possession, and I put a mark of leprosy on a house in the land of your possession,
»Wenn ihr ins Land Kanaan kommt, das ich euch als euer Eigentum schenken will, und ich lasse dort an einem Haus Schimmelpilz entstehen,
then the one who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘Something like a mark of leprosy has become visible to me in the house.’
dann soll der Besitzer seinen Verdacht dem Priester melden.
“The priest shall then command that they empty the house before the priest goes in to look at the mark, so that everything in the house need not become unclean; and afterward the priest shall go in to look at the house.
Dieser ordnet an, das Haus auszuräumen, ehe er kommt, um den Befall zu untersuchen. Denn sonst müsste, falls es ein Pilzbefall ist, der ganze Hausrat für unrein erklärt werden. Nun kommt der Priester, um sich das Haus anzusehen.
“So he shall look at the mark, and if the mark on the walls of the house has greenish or reddish depressions and appears deeper than the surface,
Entdeckt er im Mauerwerk rötliche oder grünliche Vertiefungen,
then the priest shall come out of the house, to the doorway, and quarantine the house for seven days.
verlässt er das Haus und verschließt es für sieben Tage.
“The priest shall return on the seventh day and make an inspection. If the mark has indeed spread in the walls of the house,
Wenn er am siebten Tag wiederkommt und sieht, dass sich der Befall am Mauerwerk ausgebreitet hat,
then the priest shall order them to tear out the stones with the mark in them and throw them away at an unclean place outside the city.
dann muss er anordnen, die befallenen Steine auszubrechen und außerhalb der Stadt an einen unreinen Ort zu werfen.
“He shall have the house scraped all around inside, and they shall dump the plaster that they scrape off at an unclean place outside the city.
Die Innenwände des Hauses lässt er abkratzen und den Lehm ebenfalls außerhalb der Stadt an einen unreinen Ort schütten.
“Then they shall take other stones and replace those stones, and he shall take other plaster and replaster the house.
Dann werden die herausgebrochenen Steine durch andere ersetzt, und das Haus wird mit neuem Lehm verputzt.
“If, however, the mark breaks out again in the house after he has torn out the stones and scraped the house, and after it has been replastered,
Wenn aber der Befall wieder auftritt, nachdem man die alten Steine herausgebrochen, den Lehm abgekratzt und das Haus neu verputzt hat,
then the priest shall come in and make an inspection. If he sees that the mark has indeed spread in the house, it is a malignant mark in the house; it is unclean.
kommt der Priester und schaut es sich erneut an. Stellt er fest, dass sich der Befall ausgebreitet hat, dann handelt es sich um einen hartnäckigen Schimmelpilz, der nicht wieder verschwindet; das Haus bleibt unrein.
“He shall therefore tear down the house, its stones, and its timbers, and all the plaster of the house, and he shall take them outside the city to an unclean place.
Man muss es abreißen und den Schutt — die Steine, die Balken und den Lehm — an einen unreinen Ort außerhalb der Stadt bringen.
“Moreover, whoever goes into the house during the time that he has quarantined it, becomes unclean until evening.
Wer das Haus betritt, während es verschlossen bleiben soll, ist unrein bis zum Abend.
“Likewise, whoever lies down in the house shall wash his clothes, and whoever eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
Wer in dem Haus schläft oder isst, muss danach seine Kleider waschen.
“If, on the other hand, the priest comes in and makes an inspection and the mark has not indeed spread in the house after the house has been replastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean because the mark has not reappeared.
Wenn aber der Priester sieht, dass sich der Pilzbefall am Haus nicht ausgebreitet hat, nachdem es neu verputzt wurde, soll er das Haus für rein erklären, denn der Schimmelpilz ist verschwunden.
“To cleanse the house then, he shall take two birds and cedar wood and a scarlet string and hyssop,
Er holt dann zwei Vögel, Zedernholz, karmesinrote Wolle und ein Büschel Ysop, um das Haus von seiner Unreinheit zu befreien.
and he shall slaughter the one bird in an earthenware vessel over running water.
Den einen Vogel tötet er über einem Tongefäß mit frischem Quellwasser, um das Blut des Tieres aufzufangen.
“Then he shall take the cedar wood and the hyssop and the scarlet string, with the live bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird as well as in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
Dann nimmt er das Zedernholz, den Ysop, die karmesinrote Wolle und den lebenden Vogel und taucht alles in das Blut des ersten Vogels, das sich mit dem Wasser vermischt hat. Siebenmal besprengt er mit dem blutvermischten Wasser das Haus.
“He shall thus cleanse the house with the blood of the bird and with the running water, along with the live bird and with the cedar wood and with the hyssop and with the scarlet string.
So befreit er es von aller Unreinheit, die auf ihm lastet.
“However, he shall let the live bird go free outside the city into the open field. So he shall make atonement for the house, and it will be clean.”
Den lebenden Vogel lässt er aus der Stadt hinaus ins Freie fliegen. So sorgt er dafür, dass das Haus wieder als rein gelten darf.
This is the law for any mark of leprosy — even for a scale,
Diese Vorschriften gelten für jede Art von krankhaftem oder schädlichem Befall, nämlich für Hautkrankheiten wie Aussatz, Geschwüre, Ausschläge und Flecken sowie für Schimmelpilz an Kleidung und Häusern.
