Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

Ehe denn die Berge wurden und die Erde und die Welt geschaffen wurden, bist du, Gott, von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit,

Unser Leben währet 70 Jahre, und wenn’s hoch kommt, so sind’s 80 Jahre, und wenn’s köstlich gewesen ist, so ist es Mühe und Arbeit gewesen; denn es fähret schnell dahin, als flögen wir davon.
