The Lord’s Reign in Zion
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
That the mountain of the Lord’s house
Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
And shall be exalted above the hills;
And peoples shall flow to it.

In den letzten Tagen aber wird der Berg, darauf des HERRN Haus ist, fest stehen, höher denn alle Berge, und über die Hügel erhaben sein, und die Völker werden dazu laufen,
Many nations shall come and say,
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
He will teach us His ways,
And we shall walk in His paths.”
For out of Zion the law shall go forth,
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

und viele Heiden werden gehen und sagen: Kommt, laßt uns hinauf zum Berge des HERRN gehen und zum Hause des Gottes Jakobs, daß er uns lehre seine Wege und wir auf seiner Straße wandeln! Denn aus Zion wird das Gesetz ausgehen und des HERRN Wort aus Jerusalem.
Er wird unter großen Völkern richten und viele Heiden strafen in fernen Landen. Sie werden ihre Schwerter zu Pflugscharen und ihre Spieße zu Sicheln machen. Es wird kein Volk wider das andere ein Schwert aufheben und werden nicht mehr kriegen lernen.

Ein jeglicher wird unter seinem Weinstock und Feigenbaum wohnen ohne Scheu; denn der Mund des HERRN Zebaoth hat’s geredet.
For all people walk each in the name of his god,

Denn ein jegliches Volk wandelt im Namen seines Gottes; aber wir wandeln im Namen des HERRN, unsers Gottes, immer und ewiglich.
Zion’s Future Triumph
“In that day,” says the Lord,
“I will assemble the lame,
I will gather the outcast
And those whom I have afflicted;

Zur selben Zeit, spricht der HERR, will ich die Lahmen versammeln und die Verstoßenen zuhauf bringen und die ich geplagt habe.
I will make the lame a remnant,
And the outcast a strong nation;
So the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion
From now on, even forever.

Und will die Lahmen machen, daß sie Erben haben sollen, und die Verstoßenen zum großen Volk machen; und der HERR wird König über sie sein auf dem Berge Zion von nun an bis in Ewigkeit.

The kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.”

Und du, Turm Eder, du Feste der Tochter Zion, zu dir wird kommen und einkehren die vorige Herrschaft, das Königreich der Tochter Jerusalem.
Warum schreiest du denn jetzt so laut? Ist der König nicht bei dir? oder sind deine Ratgeber alle hinweg, daß dich also das Weh angekommen ist wie eine in Kindsnöten?
Be in pain, and labor to bring forth,
O daughter of Zion,
Like a woman in birth pangs.
For now you shall go forth from the city,
You shall dwell in the field,
And to Babylon you shall go.
There you shall be delivered;
There the Lord will redeem you
From the hand of your enemies.

Leide doch solch Weh und kreiße, du Tochter Zion, wie eine in Kindsnöten. Denn du mußt nun zur Stadt hinaus und auf dem Felde wohnen und gen Babel kommen; aber daselbst wirst du errettet werden, daselbst wird dich der HERR erlösen von deinen Feinden.
Now also many nations have gathered against you,
Who say, “Let her be defiled,
And let our eye look upon Zion.”

Nun aber werden sich viele Heiden wider dich rotten und sprechen: Sie soll entweiht werden; wir wollen unsere Lust an Zion sehen.

For He will gather them like sheaves to the threshing floor.

Aber sie wissen des HERRN Gedanken nicht und merken seinen Ratschlag nicht, daß er sie zuhauf gebracht hat wie Garben auf der Tenne.
“Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion;
For I will make your horn iron,
And I will make your hooves bronze;
You shall beat in pieces many peoples;
I will consecrate their gain to the Lord,
And their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.”

Darum mache dich auf und drisch, du Tochter Zion! Denn ich will dir eiserne Hörner und eherne Klauen machen, und sollst viel Völker zermalmen; so will ich ihr Gut dem HERRN verbannen und ihre Habe dem Herrscher der ganzen Welt.
