So spricht der HERR: »Haltet euch an meine Ordnungen und tut, was recht ist! Es dauert nicht mehr lange, dann werdet ihr erleben, wie ich euch befreie und vor aller Augen für Gerechtigkeit sorge.«

Glücklich ist, wer an Gottes Geboten festhält und danach handelt. Ja, glücklich ist, wer kein Unrecht begeht und den Sabbat nicht durch Arbeit entweiht, sondern ihn als Ruhetag achtet.

Denn der HERR sagt: »Auch Entmannte zähle ich zu meiner Gemeinde, wenn sie den Sabbat als Ruhetag achten, wenn sie gerne tun, was mir gefällt, und sich an meine Ordnungen halten.

sie werde ich zu meinem heiligen Berg führen. Sie dürfen meinen Tempel betreten und sich an diesem Ort des Gebets von Herzen freuen. Sie dürfen auch auf meinem Altar Brand- und Schlachtopfer darbringen, und ich werde ihre Opfer annehmen. Denn mein Haus soll für alle Völker ein Ort des Gebets sein.

Ich, der HERR, der die vertriebenen Israeliten wieder sammelt, sage: Euch habe ich nun in eure Heimat zurückgeholt. Doch ich werde noch andere zu euch bringen!«

Denn seine Führer taugen nichts. Sie sind allesamt blinde Wächter, die nicht merken, wenn dem Volk Gefahr droht. Stumme Hunde sind sie, die nicht bellen können. Sie liegen faul herum und träumen, Schlafen ist ihre liebste Beschäftigung.
