Also half der HERR zu der Zeit Israel. Und der Streit währte bis gen Beth–Aven.

Der Kampf tobte bis über Bet-Awen hinaus. So befreite der HERR an diesem Tag die Israeliten aus ihrer ausweglosen Lage.
