Я тоді стояв між Господом та вами, щоб об'явити вам слово Господнє, бо ви злякалися перед вогнем і не зійшли на гору. Він же сказав:

(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

I stood as an intermediary between you and the LORD, for you were afraid of the fire and did not want to approach the mountain. He spoke to me, and I passed his words on to you. This is what he said:
