Denk daran: Du bist in Ägypten Sklave gewesen. Darum mache ich es dir zur Pflicht, diese Bestimmung einzuhalten.

Und sollst gedenken, daß du Knecht in Ägyptenland gewesen bist; darum gebiete ich dir, daß du solches tust.

Vergesst nicht, dass ihr einmal Sklaven in Ägypten wart. Darum haltet euch an diese Gebote!
