Hoffnung für Alle
Wenn sie auch fasten und mich um Gnade anflehen, werde ich sie doch nicht erhören. Wenn sie mir Brand- und Speiseopfer bringen, nehme ich ihre Opfer nicht an; nein, ich werde sie auslöschen durch Kriege, Hungersnot und Seuchen.«

Denn ob sie gleich fasten, so will ich doch ihr Flehen nicht hören; und ob sie Brandopfer und Speisopfer bringen, so gefallen sie mir doch nicht, sondern ich will sie mit Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz aufreiben.

Auch wenn sie fasten, höre ich nicht auf ihr Flehen; wenn sie Brandopfer und Speiseopfer darbringen, habe ich kein Gefallen an ihnen. Durch Schwert, Hunger und Pest mache ich ihnen ein Ende.
