Hoffnung für Alle
Jeremia aber kam mit dem Leben davon. Er wurde nicht dem Volk ausgeliefert, das ihn umgebracht hätte, denn Ahikam, der Sohn von Schafan, setzte sich für ihn ein.

Aber mit Jeremia war die Hand Ahikams, des Sohnes Saphans, daß er nicht dem Volk in die Hände kam, daß sie ihn töteten.

Ahikam jedoch, der Sohn Schafans, beschützte Jeremia, sodass man ihn nicht dem Volk auslieferte, das ihn töten wollte.
