Hoffnung für Alle
Weiter sagte der Herr zu mir: »Wenn ihr das Land unter den Stämmen Israels durch das Los aufteilt, sollt ihr für mich ein Gebiet zurückbehalten. In seinem ganzen Umfang soll es mir geweiht sein und darum als heilig gelten. Es muss 12,5 Kilometer lang und 10 Kilometer breit sein.

Wenn ihr nun das Land durchs Los austeilt, so sollt ihr ein Hebopfer vom Lande absondern, das dem HERRN heilig sein soll, 25,000 Ruten lang und 10,000 breit; der Platz soll heilig sein, soweit er reicht.

Wenn ihr das Land durch das Los verteilt, sollt ihr ein Stück von fünfundzwanzigtausend Ellen Länge und zwanzigtausend Ellen Breite als Hebeopfer für den HERRN darbringen. Es soll in seinem ganzen Umfang heilig sein.

Consecration of the Land
Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto the LORD, an holy portion of the land: the length shall be the length of five and twenty thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand. This shall be holy in all the borders thereof round about. -
