Da aber Paulus wußte, daß ein Teil Sadduzäer war und der andere Teil Pharisäer, rief er im Rat: Ihr Männer, liebe Brüder, ich bin ein Pharisäer und eines Pharisäers Sohn; ich werde angeklagt um der Hoffnung und Auferstehung willen der Toten.

Paulus wusste, dass zum Hohen Rat sowohl Sadduzäer als auch Pharisäer gehörten. Deshalb rief er laut: »Brüder, ich bin ein Pharisäer wie viele meiner Vorfahren, und nun stehe ich hier vor Gericht, weil ich an die Auferstehung der Toten glaube.«

Da Paulus aber wusste, dass der eine Teil zu den Sadduzäern, der andere zu den Pharisäern gehörte, rief er vor dem Hohen Rat aus: Brüder, ich bin Pharisäer und ein Sohn von Pharisäern; wegen der Hoffnung und wegen der Auferstehung der Toten stehe ich vor Gericht.
