Das Wort des HERRN erging an mich:
The Sins of Israel
Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Du, Menschensohn, musst du nicht das Urteil sprechen, musst du nicht das Urteil sprechen über die Blutstadt, musst du ihr nicht alle ihre Gräueltaten bekannt machen?
“And you, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Then cause her to know all her abominations.
Dann sag: So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Stadt, die in ihrer Mitte Blut vergießt, sodass ihre Zeit kommt, und die sich Götzen macht, sodass sie unrein wird:
“You shall say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “A city shedding blood in her midst, so that her time will come, and that makes idols, contrary to her interest, for defilement!
Durch dein Blut, das du vergossen hast, bist du schuldig geworden und durch deine Götzen, die du gemacht hast, bist du unrein geworden. Du hast deine Tage herannahen lassen und bist ans Ende deiner Jahre gekommen. Deshalb mache ich dich zur Schande für die Völker und zum Spott für alle Länder.
“You have become guilty by the blood which you have shed, and defiled by your idols which you have made. Thus you have brought your day near and have come to your years; therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations and a mocking to all the lands.
Nah und Fern verhöhnt dich; befleckt ist der Name, groß die Bestürzung.
“Those who are near and those who are far from you will mock you, you of ill repute, full of turmoil.
Siehe, die Fürsten Israels: Ein jeder in dir war auf seine eigene Macht aus, um Blut zu vergießen.
“Behold, the rulers of Israel, each according to his power, have been in you for the purpose of shedding blood.
In dir verachtet man Vater und Mutter. In deiner Mitte beutet man die Fremden aus. In dir unterdrückt man Waisen und Witwen.
“They have treated father and mother lightly within you. The alien they have oppressed in your midst; the fatherless and the widow they have wronged in you.
Was mir heilig ist, hast du verachtet. Meine Sabbat-Tage hast du entweiht.
“You have despised My holy things and profaned My sabbaths.
In dir gibt es Verleumder, die Blut vergießen wollen. Man hält bei dir auf den Bergen Opfermahlzeiten ab. Schandtat verübt man in deiner Mitte:
“Slanderous men have been in you for the purpose of shedding blood, and in you they have eaten at the mountain shrines. In your midst they have committed acts of lewdness.
In dir hat man die Scham des Vaters entblößt, in dir die missbraucht, die verunreinigt ist während ihrer Regel.
“In you they have uncovered their fathers’ nakedness; in you they have humbled her who was unclean in her menstrual impurity.
Und ein jeder hat Abscheuliches mit der Frau seines Nächsten getrieben; ein jeder hat durch Schandtat seine Schwiegertochter unrein gemacht, ein jeder in dir hat seine Schwester, die Tochter seines Vaters, missbraucht.
“One has committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law. And another in you has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.
Bei dir hat man Bestechung angenommen, um Blut zu vergießen. Du hast Zins und Wucher genommen und deinen Nächsten hast du durch Erpressung geschädigt. Mich aber hast du vergessen — Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn.
“In you they have taken bribes to shed blood; you have taken interest and profits, and you have injured your neighbors for gain by oppression, and you have forgotten Me,” declares the Lord GOD.
Siehe, ich schlage meine Hände zusammen wegen deines Gewinns, den du gemacht hast, und wegen deiner Blutschuld, die in deiner Mitte geschehen ist.
“Behold, then, I smite My hand at your dishonest gain which you have acquired and at the bloodshed which is among you.
Wird dein Herz standhalten können, werden deine Hände stark bleiben in den Tagen, in denen ich gegen dich vorgehe? Ich, der HERR, habe gesprochen und ich führe es aus.
“Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong in the days that I will deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken and will act.
Ich werde dich unter die Völker zerstreuen und dich in alle Länder vertreiben und mache deiner Unreinheit ein Ende.
“I will scatter you among the nations and I will disperse you through the lands, and I will consume your uncleanness from you.
Durch dich selbst wirst du entweiht vor den Augen der Völker und du wirst erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin.
“You will profane yourself in the sight of the nations, and you will know that I am the LORD.”’”
Menschensohn, das Haus Israel ist für mich zu Schlacke geworden. Sie alle — Kupfer und Zinn und Eisen und Blei mitten im Schmelzofen — sind Schlacke. Silber sind sie gewesen.
“Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me; all of them are bronze and tin and iron and lead in the furnace; they are the dross of silver.
Darum — so spricht GOTT, der Herr: Weil ihr alle zu Schlacke geworden seid, darum siehe, bringe ich euch zusammen in die Mitte Jerusalems.
“Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Because all of you have become dross, therefore, behold, I am going to gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
Silber, Kupfer, Eisen, Blei und Zinn werden in den Schmelzofen zusammengebracht, man zündet darunter Feuer an, um zu schmelzen. So werde ich euch in meinem Zorn und in meinem Grimm zusammenbringen, ich werde euch hineinwerfen und zum Schmelzen bringen.
‘As they gather silver and bronze and iron and lead and tin into the furnace to blow fire on it in order to melt it, so I will gather you in My anger and in My wrath and I will lay you there and melt you.
Ich werde euch sammeln und das Feuer meines Zorns gegen euch entfachen und ihr werdet mittendrin schmelzen.
‘I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you will be melted in the midst of it.
Wie Silber im Schmelzofen geschmolzen wird, so werdet ihr darin zum Schmelzen gebracht. Dann werdet ihr erkennen, dass ich, der HERR, meinen Zorn über euch ausgegossen habe.
‘As silver is melted in the furnace, so you will be melted in the midst of it; and you will know that I, the LORD, have poured out My wrath on you.’”
Menschensohn, sag zu ihm: Du bist ein Land, nicht gereinigt, nicht beregnet am Tag des Zorns.
“Son of man, say to her, ‘You are a land that is not cleansed or rained on in the day of indignation.’
Die Verschwörung seiner Propheten in seiner Mitte ist wie ein brüllender Löwe, der Beute gerissen hat. Sie haben Menschen gefressen, nehmen Schätze und Kostbarkeiten an sich und Witwen haben sie zahlreich gemacht mittendrin.
“There is a conspiracy of her prophets in her midst like a roaring lion tearing the prey. They have devoured lives; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in the midst of her.
Seine Priester haben meiner Weisung Gewalt angetan. Sie haben entweiht, was mir heilig ist. Zwischen heilig und nicht heilig machten sie keinen Unterschied. Sie belehrten niemanden mehr über unrein und rein und vor meinen Sabbat-Tagen verschlossen sie die Augen. So wurde ich mitten unter ihnen entweiht.
“Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
Mitten in ihm sind seine Beamten wie Wölfe, die Beute reißen, indem sie Blut vergießen und Menschenleben zugrunde richten, damit sie Gewinn machen.
“Her princes within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get dishonest gain.
Seine Propheten aber übertünchten ihnen alles. Sie haben nichtige Visionen, verkünden ihnen falsche Orakel und sagen: So spricht GOTT, der Herr — obwohl der HERR nicht gesprochen hat.
“Her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the LORD has not spoken.
Das Volk des Landes hat Erpressung verübt und Raub begangen. Sie haben den Elenden und Armen unterdrückt und den Fremden erpresst gegen jeden Rechtsspruch.
“The people of the land have practiced oppression and committed robbery, and they have wronged the poor and needy and have oppressed the sojourner without justice.
Da suchte ich unter ihnen einen Mann, der eine Mauer baut und vor mir für das Land in die Bresche tritt, damit ich es nicht vernichten muss; aber ich fand keinen.
“I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.
Ich schüttete meinen Groll über sie aus. Ich vernichtete sie im Feuer meines Zorns. Ihren Weg ließ ich auf sie selbst zurückfallen — Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn.
“Thus I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; their way I have brought upon their heads,” declares the Lord GOD.
