Darum traf ein, was der HERR ihnen durch seine Diener, die Propheten, immer wieder angedroht hatte: Er verstieß die Israeliten. Sie wurden als Gefangene nach Assyrien verschleppt. Dort leben sie heute noch.

bis der HERR Israel von seinem Angesicht tat, wie er geredet hatte durch alle seine Knechte, die Propheten. Also ward Israel aus seinem Lande weggeführt nach Assyrien bis auf diesen Tag.

Schließlich verstieß der HERR Israel von sich, wie er es durch seine Knechte, die Propheten, angedroht hatte. So wanderte Israel aus seinem Land weg in die Verbannung nach Assur und blieb dort bis zum heutigen Tag.
