Hoffnung für Alle
Sie beschlossen, alle Israeliten von Beerscheba im Süden bis Dan im Norden einzuladen. Sie sollten nach Jerusalem kommen, um das Passahfest für den HERRN, den Gott Israels, zu feiern. Denn so, wie es in Moses Gesetz vorgeschrieben war, hatte man es schon lange nicht mehr begangen.

und sie bestellten, daß solches ausgerufen würde durch ganz Israel von Beer–Seba an bis gen Dan, daß sie kämen, Passah zu halten dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, zu Jerusalem; denn es war lange nicht gehalten, wie es geschrieben steht.

Sie beschlossen, man solle in ganz Israel von Dan bis Beerscheba ausrufen, dass sie kommen und in Jerusalem zur Ehre des HERRN, des Gottes Israels, das Pessach feiern sollten; denn man hatte es bisher nicht vollzählig so gehalten, wie es vorgeschrieben war.
