Hoffnung für Alle
So spricht der HERR, der allmächtige Gott: »Ich werde eingreifen und Babylon vollständig vernichten. Nichts soll mehr an den Ruhm der Stadt erinnern! Die ganze Sippe samt Kindern und Kindeskindern wird ausgelöscht. Darauf könnt ihr euch verlassen!

Und ich will über sie kommen, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, und zu Babel ausrotten ihr Gedächtnis, ihre Übriggebliebenen, Kind und Kindeskind, spricht der HERR,

Ich werde gegen sie aufstehen — Spruch des HERRN der Heerscharen — und werde von Babel Namen und Überrest ausrotten, Nachkommen und Nachfahren — Spruch des HERRN.
