Der HERR sprach zu Mose:
Moses Consecrates Aaron and his Sons
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
»Lass Aaron und seine Söhne zum Eingang des heiligen Zeltes kommen. Bringt die Priesterkleider mit, das Salböl, einen jungen Stier für das Sündopfer, zwei Schafböcke sowie einen Korb mit ungesäuerten Broten und Kuchen. Alle, die zur Gemeinschaft der Israeliten gehören, sollen sich für die Einsetzungsfeier beim Heiligtum versammeln.«
Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;
Mose gehorchte, und als die Israeliten zusammengekommen waren,
And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
sagte er zu ihnen: »Nun werde ich tun, was der HERR befohlen hat.«
And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.
Mose ließ Aaron und seine Söhne herantreten und wusch sie mit Wasser.
And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.
Dann zog er Aaron das leinene Gewand an und band ihm den Gürtel um; darüber kamen das Obergewand und der Priesterschurz, der von dem dazugehörigen Gürtel gehalten wurde.
And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.
Anschließend hängte er Aaron die Brusttasche um und legte die beiden Lose »Urim« und »Tummim« hinein.
And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.
Er setzte ihm den Turban auf und befestigte an dessen Vorderseite ein goldenes Schild, das heilige Diadem. So hatte der HERR es ihm befohlen.
And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Dann nahm Mose das Salböl, besprengte damit das Heiligtum und alle Gegenstände darin und weihte es so dem Herrn.
And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them.
Er sprengte etwas vom heiligen Salböl siebenmal an den Brandopferaltar, an die dazugehörigen Gefäße und Werkzeuge, an das Wasserbecken und sein Untergestell, um alles dem Herrn zu weihen.
And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.
Dann goss er Salböl auf Aarons Kopf, um auch ihn für den Priesterdienst zu weihen.
And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
Als Nächstes ließ Mose die Söhne Aarons herantreten, er bekleidete sie mit dem leinenen Gewand und band ihnen den Gürtel um. Jedem setzte er einen Turban auf, so wie der HERR es angeordnet hatte.
And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Nun ließ er den jungen Stier für das Sündopfer herbeiführen; Aaron und seine Söhne legten ihm die Hände auf den Kopf.
The Priests' Sin Offering
And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.

Mose schlachtete den Stier und strich mit dem Finger etwas von seinem Blut an die vier Hörner des Altars; so reinigte er den Altar von aller Schuld, die auf ihm lastete. Das restliche Blut schüttete er am Fuß des Altars aus, um ihn dem Herrn zu weihen und von aller Unreinheit zu befreien.
And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.
Alle Fettstücke des Opfertieres, das Fett an den Eingeweiden, den Fettlappen an der Leber und die Nieren mit ihrem Fett verbrannte Mose auf dem Altar.
And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.
Die Überreste — das Fell, das Fleisch und die Eingeweide — verbrannte er außerhalb des Lagers, so wie der HERR es ihm befohlen hatte.
But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Als Nächstes wurde der Schafbock für das Brandopfer geholt. Aaron und seine Söhne legten ihre Hände auf den Kopf des Schafbocks.
The Priests' Burnt Offering
And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

Mose schlachtete ihn und sprengte das Blut ringsum an den Altar.
And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.
Er zerlegte den Schafbock und verbrannte die Stücke samt dem Kopf und dem Fett.
And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.
Er wusch die Eingeweide und Schenkel mit Wasser ab und verbrannte auch sie auf dem Altar, wie der HERR es angeordnet hatte. Es war ein wohlriechendes Brandopfer, an dem der HERR seine Freude hatte.
And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Dann ließ Mose den zweiten Schafbock holen, der als Opfer für die Einsetzung der Priester bestimmt war. Wieder legten Aaron und seine Söhne ihre Hände auf den Kopf des Tieres.
The Ram of Consecration
And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

Mose schlachtete es, nahm etwas von dem Blut und strich es auf Aarons rechtes Ohrläppchen, seinen rechten Daumen und die rechte große Zehe.
And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.
Anschließend ließ er Aarons Söhne herantreten. Auch ihnen strich er Blut auf das rechte Ohrläppchen, den rechten Daumen und die rechte große Zehe. Das übrige Blut sprengte er ringsum an den Altar.
And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.
Er entnahm das Fett des Schafbocks: den Fettschwanz, das Fett an den Eingeweiden, den Fettlappen an der Leber, die Nieren mit ihrem Fett sowie die rechte hintere Keule.
And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder:
Aus dem Korb am Eingang des heiligen Zeltes nahm er einen Kuchen, der ohne Sauerteig gebacken war, einen Ölkuchen und ein Fladenbrot; diese legte er auf die Fettstücke und auf die rechte Keule.
And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:
Dann gab er alles Aaron und seinen Söhnen, und sie schwangen es vor dem Heiligtum hin und her, um es dem HERRN zu weihen.
And he put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD.
Danach nahm Mose es wieder zurück und legte es zu dem Brandopfer auf dem Altar ins Feuer. Dieses wohlriechende Opfer zur Priesterweihe nahm der HERR gerne an.
And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet savour: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Mose nahm das Bruststück des Schafbocks und schwang es vor dem Heiligtum hin und her, um es dem HERRN zu weihen. Es war sein Anteil am Einsetzungsopfer. So hatte es der HERR befohlen.
And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: for of the ram of consecration it was Moses' part; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Dann nahm Mose etwas von dem Salböl und dem Blut am Altar und besprengte damit Aaron, seine Söhne und die Kleider, die sie trugen. So weihte er sie mitsamt ihrer Priesterkleidung dem Herrn.
And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
Mose sagte ihnen: »Kocht das Opferfleisch am Eingang zum heiligen Zelt und esst es dort mit dem Brot, das ihr im Korb für das Einsetzungsopfer findet! Denn so hat der Herr es mir befohlen.
And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.
Was vom Fleisch und Brot übrig bleibt, sollt ihr verbrennen!
And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.
Verlasst sieben Tage lang nicht den Eingangsbereich des Zeltes, bis zu dem Tag, an dem eure Priesterweihe beendet ist!
And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.
Der HERR will, dass an allen sieben Tagen dieselben Opfer dargebracht werden, damit ihr von aller Schuld befreit werdet. Bleibt in dieser Zeit Tag und Nacht im Eingangsbereich des heiligen Zeltes! Folgt den Anweisungen des HERRN, dann werdet ihr nicht sterben. So hat er es mir gesagt.«
As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.
