Jetzt aber sage ich, der HERR, der allmächtige Gott: Ich lasse ein Volk über euch herfallen, das euch besiegen und die Bevölkerung im ganzen Land unterdrücken wird — von Lebo-Hamat bis ans Tote Meer!«

Darum siehe, ich will über euch vom Hause Israel ein Volk erwecken, spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth, das soll euch ängsten von dem Ort an, da man gen Hamath geht, bis an den Bach in der Wüste.

Fürwahr, seht: Ich werde gegen euch, Haus Israel, Spruch des HERRN, des Gottes der Heerscharen, ein Volk erstehen lassen, das euch bedrängen wird von Lebo-Hamat bis zum Bach der Araba.
