Hoffnung für Alle
Nachdem Josua seine Anweisungen gegeben hatte, stießen die Priester in die Hörner, und alle brachen auf. An der Spitze des Zuges marschierte die ausgewählte Vorhut. Hinter ihr gingen die sieben Priester, die nun unablässig ihre Hörner bliesen, und die anderen Priester mit der Bundeslade. Den Schluss bildete das übrige Heer.

Da Josua solches dem Volk gesagt hatte, trugen die sieben Priester sieben Halljahrsposaunen vor der Lade des HERRN her und gingen und bliesen die Posaunen; und die Lade des Bundes des HERRN folgte ihnen nach.

Und es geschah so, wie Josua es dem Volk gesagt hatte: Sieben Priester trugen die sieben Widderhörner vor dem HERRN her und zogen hinüber und bliesen die Widderhörner und die Bundeslade des HERRN zog hinter ihnen her.
