Da sprach der König Israels: O wehe! der HERR hat diese drei Könige geladen, daß er sie in der Moabiter Hände gebe.

»Hätten wir nur diesen Feldzug nie unternommen!«, klagte der König von Israel. »Bestimmt hat uns der HERR bloß hierhergebracht, um uns dem König von Moab auszuliefern.«

Der König von Israel sagte: Weh uns, der HERR hat diese drei Könige hierher gerufen, um sie in die Hand der Moabiter zu geben.
