Sie werden aber den Philistern auf dem Halse sein gegen Abend und berauben alle die, so gegen Morgen wohnen; Edom und Moab werden ihre Hände gegen sie falten; die Kinder Ammon werden gehorsam sein.

Gemeinsam ziehen sie nun gegen ihre Feinde in den Kampf: Sie stürzen sich auf die Philister im Westen und plündern die Völker im Osten aus; die Länder der Edomiter und Moabiter nehmen sie in Besitz. Auch die Ammoniter werden sie unterwerfen.

Sie werden auf den Berghang der Philister gen Westen fliegen; vereint plündern sie die Söhne des Ostens. Edom und Moab sind im Einflussbereich ihrer Hand, die Söhne Ammons müssen ihnen gehorchen.
