Hiskia sagte: »Der HERR weiß, was er tut; ich beuge mich seinem Urteil.« Und er fügte hinzu: »Wenn nur zu meinen Lebzeiten noch Frieden und Ruhe herrschen!«

Da sagte Hiskija zu Jesaja: Das Wort des HERRN, das du geredet hast, ist gut. Und er sagte: Ja, beständiger Friede wird in meinen Tagen sein.
