Alle Herden in Kedar sollen zu dir versammelt werden, und die Böcke Nebajoths sollen dir dienen. Sie sollen als ein angenehmes Opfer auf meinen Altar kommen; denn ich will das Haus meiner Herrlichkeit zieren.

Der Herr sagt: »Die Nomaden aus Kedar in Arabien treiben ihre Schafherden nach Jerusalem, und die Bewohner von Nebajot schenken dir ihre Schafböcke. Du sollst sie mir als ein Opfer darbringen, an dem ich meine Freude habe. So werde ich meinen Tempel noch herrlicher schmücken.«

Alle Schafe von Kedar sammeln sich bei dir, die Widder von Nebajot sind dir zu Diensten. Sie steigen zum Wohlgefallen auf meinen Altar; so verherrliche ich das Haus meiner Herrlichkeit.
