Und was übriges Volks war zu Mizpa, auch die Königstöchter, führte Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, gefangen weg samt allem übrigen Volk zu Mizpa, über welche Nebusaradan, der Hauptmann, hatte gesetzt Gedalja, den Sohn Ahikams, und zog hin und wollte hinüber zu den Kindern Ammon.

nahm er die restlichen Einwohner von Mizpa gefangen: die Töchter des Königs und alle anderen, über die Nebusaradan, der Oberbefehlshaber der babylonischen Leibwache, Gedalja als Statthalter eingesetzt hatte. Jismael wollte mit seinen Gefangenen zu den Ammonitern fliehen.

Dann führte Jischmael den ganzen Rest des Volkes, der sich in Mizpa befand, gefangen weg: die Töchter des Königs und das ganze Volk, das in Mizpa übrig geblieben war und das Nebusaradan, der Befehlshaber der Leibwache, Gedalja, dem Sohn Ahikams, unterstellt hatte. Jischmael, der Sohn Netanjas, führte sie gefangen weg und er selbst zog ab, um über die Grenze zu den Ammonitern zu gelangen.
