Darum fürchte dich nicht, du, Jakob, mein Knecht, spricht der HERR; denn ich bin bei dir. Mit allen Heiden, dahin ich dich verstoßen habe, will ich ein Ende machen; aber mit dir will ich nicht ein Ende machen, sondern ich will dich züchtigen mit Maßen, auf daß ich dich nicht ungestraft lasse.

Fürchtet euch nicht, ihr Nachkommen von Jakob, meine Diener! Denn ich, der HERR, bin bei euch, um euch zu helfen! Die Völker, in deren Länder ich euch vertrieben habe, lasse ich vom Erdboden verschwinden, doch euch lösche ich nicht aus. Zwar werde ich auch euch bestrafen, wie ihr es verdient habt, aber ich gehe nicht zu hart mit euch ins Gericht.«

Du aber, fürchte dich nicht, mein Knecht Jakob — Spruch des HERRN; denn ich bin mit dir. Ja, ich bereite allen Völkern, unter die ich dich vertrieben habe, ein Ende. Dir aber mache ich kein Ende. Ich werde dich züchtigen, wie es recht ist; ganz ungestraft werde ich dich nicht lassen.
