Ich will sie mit ihrem Trinken in die Hitze setzen und will sie trunken machen, daß sie fröhlich werden und einen ewigen Schlaf schlafen, von dem sie nimmermehr aufwachen sollen, spricht der HERR.

Sie sind voller Gier! Darum bereite ich, der HERR, ihnen ein Festmahl und mache sie betrunken, bis sie fröhlich und ausgelassen sind. Dann versinken sie in ewigen Schlaf und werden nie mehr erwachen.

Wenn sie in Gier brennen, bereite ich ihr Gelage und mache sie betrunken, dass sie lustig werden, in ewigen Schlaf sinken und nie mehr erwachen — Spruch des HERRN.
