und sprich: also soll Babel versenkt werden und nicht wieder aufkommen von dem Unglück, das ich über sie bringen will, sondern vergehen. So weit hat Jeremia geredet.

und rufe: ›Genauso wird Babylon untergehen und nie wieder hochkommen! Denn der Herr wird großes Unheil über seine Einwohner bringen. Es ist aus mit ihnen!‹« Hier enden die Worte Jeremias.

Und sprich dabei: So soll Babel versinken und nicht wieder hochkommen, wegen des Unheils, das ich über die Stadt bringe. Ja, Nationen plagen sich ab für nichts. So weit die Worte Jeremias.
