Und sprach zu mir: Du Menschenkind, siehe, ich will den Vorrat des Brots zu Jerusalem wegnehmen, daß sie das Brot essen müssen nach dem Gewicht und mit Kummer, und das Wasser nach dem Maß mit Kummer trinken,

Und er fügte hinzu: »Du Mensch, schon bald lasse ich alle Vorräte in Jerusalem zu Ende gehen. Dann müssen sie genau wie du ihr Brot und Wasser streng einteilen. Ständig werden sie in Angst und Sorge leben.

Dann sagte er zu mir: Menschensohn, siehe, ich zerbreche den Brotstab in Jerusalem. Sie werden ihr Brot wiegen und es mit Sorgen essen; das Wasser werden sie genau abmessen und mit Schaudern trinken;
