Und die Gänge rings um das Haus her mit ihren Gemächern waren umso weiter, je höher sie lagen; und aus dem untern ging man in den mittleren und aus dem mittleren in den obersten.

Die Mauervorsprünge entstanden dadurch, dass die Tempelmauer mit jedem höher gelegenen Stockwerk etwas zurücktrat. So wurden die Kammern in dem Anbau nach oben hin immer breiter. Eine Treppe führte vom untersten Stockwerk über das mittlere zum oberen hinauf.

Durch die Nebenräume ergab sich nach oben hin jeweils eine Verbreiterung und ein Umgang, denn der Hausumgang umgab das Haus nach oben hin rings herum. So gab es eine Verbreiterung am Haus nach oben hin. Vom untersten Stockwerk konnte man über das mittlere zum oberen hinaufsteigen.
