Aber das Wort verstanden sie nicht, und es ward vor ihnen verborgen, daß sie es nicht begriffen. Und sie fürchteten sich, ihn zu fragen um dieses Wort.

Aber die Jünger verstanden nicht, was er damit meinte. Die Bedeutung seiner Worte war ihnen verborgen, und sie trauten sich auch nicht, ihn zu fragen.
