Und einer unter ihnen mit Namen Agabus stand auf und deutete durch den Geist eine große Teuerung, die da kommen sollte über den ganzen Kreis der Erde; welche geschah unter dem Kaiser Klaudius.

Während des Gottesdienstes sagte einer von ihnen — er hieß Agabus — eine große Hungersnot voraus. Sie würde sich über das gesamte Reich erstrecken. So hatte es ihm der Heilige Geist gezeigt. Tatsächlich trat diese Hungersnot wenige Jahre später noch während der Regierungszeit von Kaiser Klaudius ein.

Einer von ihnen namens Agabus trat auf und weissagte durch den Geist, eine große Hungersnot werde über die ganze Erde kommen. Sie brach dann unter Claudius aus.
