Und nun höre, Israel, die Gebote und Rechte, die ich euch lehre, daß ihr sie tun sollt, auf daß ihr lebet und hineinkommet und das Land einnehmet, das euch der HERR, eurer Väter Gott, gibt.

Hört mir zu, ihr Israeliten! Ich erkläre euch jetzt noch einmal die Gebote und Weisungen, nach denen ihr handeln sollt. Dann werdet ihr am Leben bleiben und das Land einnehmen, das der HERR, der Gott eurer Vorfahren, euch gibt.

Und nun, Israel, hör auf die Gesetze und Rechtsentscheide, die ich euch zu halten lehre! Hört und ihr werdet leben, ihr werdet in das Land, das der HERR, der Gott eurer Väter, euch gibt, hineinziehen und es in Besitz nehmen.

An Exhortation to Obedience
Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. -
