daß alle Städte der Kinder Merari nach ihren Geschlechtern, der andern Leviten, nach ihrem Los waren zwölf.

Insgesamt besaßen die restlichen Sippen des Stammes Levi, die Nachkommen von Merari, zwölf Städte.

Im Ganzen erhielten die Merariter entsprechend ihren Sippen, die unter den Sippen der Leviten noch übrig waren, als ihren Anteil zwölf Städte.
