Simson aber lag bis Mitternacht. Da stand er auf zu Mitternacht und ergriff beide Türen an der Stadt Tor samt den beiden Pfosten und hob sie aus mit den Riegeln und legte sie auf seine Schultern und trug sie hinauf auf die Höhe des Berges vor Hebron.

Simson lag bis Mitternacht im Bett. Dann stand er auf und ging zum Stadttor. Er packte die Torflügel, riss sie mit Pfosten und Querbalken heraus, nahm sie auf die Schultern und trug sie auf den Gipfel des Berges, der in Richtung Hebron liegt.

Simson aber schlief bis gegen Mitternacht. Um Mitternacht stand er auf, packte die Flügel des Stadttors mit den beiden Pfosten und riss sie zusammen mit dem Riegel heraus. Er lud alles auf seine Schultern und trug es auf den Gipfel des Berges, der Hebron gegenüberliegt.
