Da machte sich David auf samt seinen Männern, deren bei 600 waren, und zogen aus von Kegila und wandelten, wo sie hin konnten. Da nun Saul angesagt ward, daß David von Kegila entronnen war, ließ er sein Ausziehen anstehen.

Da verließen David und seine Männer die Stadt Keïla, es waren etwa 600 Mann. Sie streiften durch das Land, von Versteck zu Versteck. Als Saul erfuhr, dass David aus Keïla entkommen war, brach er seinen Feldzug ab.

Da brach David mit seinen Männern auf, etwa sechshundert Mann. Sie verließen Keïla und streiften umher, wie es sich gerade ergab. Als Saul berichtet wurde, dass David aus Keïla entkommen war, ließ er von seinem Plan ab und rückte nicht aus.
