So my people will go into exile far away
because they do not know me.
Those who are great and honored will starve,
and the common people will die of thirst.

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Weil sie das nicht einsehen wollen, wird mein Volk in die Verbannung verschleppt werden. Dann müssen die vornehmen Herren Hunger leiden, und das einfache Volk wird umkommen vor Durst.

Darum geht mein Volk in die Verbannung wegen fehlender Erkenntnis. Seine Vornehmen sind Hungerleider und seine Menge verschmachtet vor Durst.
