Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD.

Darum siehe, es kommt die Zeit, spricht der HERR, daß ich will ein Kriegsgeschrei erschallen lassen über Rabba der Kinder Ammon, daß sie soll auf einem Haufen wüst liegen und ihre Töchter mit Feuer angesteckt werden; aber Israel soll besitzen die, von denen sie besessen waren, spricht der HERR.

against Rabbah of the Ammonites;
it will become a mound of ruins,
and its surrounding villages will be set on fire.
Then Israel will drive out

Darum siehe, Tage kommen — Spruch des HERRN — , da lasse ich gegen das ammonitische Rabba Kriegsgeschrei hören. Zum wüsten Trümmerhaufen wird es werden, seine Tochterstädte brennen im Feuer nieder und Israel wird die beerben, die ihm sein Erbteil raubten — spricht der HERR.

Doch ich, der HERR, kündige an: Es kommt die Zeit, da wird man in Rabba, der Hauptstadt der Ammoniter, Kriegsgeschrei hören. Die Stadt soll zu einem einzigen Trümmerhaufen werden und die Orte ringsum sollen in Flammen aufgehen. Dann erobert Israel sein rechtmäßiges Erbe von denen zurück, die es ihm genommen haben. Darauf könnt ihr euch verlassen!
