Jesus, High Priest of a Better Covenant

Die Hauptsache bei dem Gesagten aber ist: Wir haben einen solchen Hohepriester, der sich zur Rechten des Thrones der Majestät im Himmel gesetzt hat,
als Diener des Heiligtums und des wahren Zeltes, das der Herr selbst aufgeschlagen hat, nicht ein Mensch.
For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; thus it is necessary for this priest also to have something to offer.
Denn jeder Hohepriester wird eingesetzt, um Gaben und Opfer darzubringen; deshalb muss auch dieser etwas haben, was er darbringt.

Denn das wird der Bund sein, den ich nach diesen Tagen mit dem Haus Israel schließe — spricht der Herr: Ich lege meine Gesetze in ihr Denken hinein und schreibe sie ihnen in ihr Herz. Ich werde ihr Gott sein und sie werden mein Volk sein.
