Ich mache in Moab ein Ende damit — Spruch des HERRN — , dass jemand zu einer Kulthöhe hinaufsteigt und seinen Göttern Räucheropfer darbringt.

Und ich will, spricht der HERR, in Moab damit ein Ende machen, daß sie nicht mehr auf den Höhen opfern und ihren Göttern räuchern sollen.

Ich, der HERR, lasse es nicht mehr zu, dass man in Moab zu den Opferstätten hinaufsteigt, um dort den Göttern Opfer zu bringen. Alle, die dies tun, rotte ich aus!«
