O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
Mein Gott, mein Gott, warum hast du mich verlassen, bleibst fern meiner Rettung, den Worten meines Schreiens?
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Mein Gott, ich rufe bei Tag, doch du gibst keine Antwort; und bei Nacht, doch ich finde keine Ruhe.
Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
Aber du bist heilig, du thronst über dem Lobpreis Israels.
They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
Dir haben unsere Väter vertraut, sie haben vertraut und du hast sie gerettet.
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
Zu dir riefen sie und wurden befreit, dir vertrauten sie und wurden nicht zuschanden.
All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
Ich aber bin ein Wurm und kein Mensch, der Leute Spott, vom Volk verachtet.
He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
Alle, die mich sehen, verlachen mich, verziehen die Lippen, schütteln den Kopf:
But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
Wälze die Last auf den HERRN! Er soll ihn befreien, er reiße ihn heraus, wenn er an ihm Gefallen hat!
I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
Du bist es, der mich aus dem Schoß meiner Mutter zog, der mich anvertraut der Brust meiner Mutter.
Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
Von Geburt an bin ich geworfen auf dich, vom Mutterleib an bist du mein Gott.
Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
Sei mir nicht fern, denn die Not ist nahe und kein Helfer ist da!
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
Viele Stiere haben mich umgeben, Büffel von Baschan mich umringt.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
Aufgesperrt haben sie gegen mich ihren Rachen, wie ein reißender, brüllender Löwe.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
Hingeschüttet bin ich wie Wasser, gelöst haben sich all meine Glieder, mein Herz ist geworden wie Wachs, in meinen Eingeweiden zerflossen.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
Meine Kraft ist vertrocknet wie eine Scherbe, die Zunge klebt mir am Gaumen, du legst mich in den Staub des Todes.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
Denn Hunde haben mich umlagert, eine Rotte von Bösen hat mich umkreist. Sie haben mir Hände und Füße durchbohrt.
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
Ich kann all meine Knochen zählen; sie gaffen und starren mich an.
But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
Sie verteilen unter sich meine Kleider und werfen das Los um mein Gewand.
Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
Du aber, HERR, halte dich nicht fern! Du, meine Stärke, eile mir zu Hilfe!
Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
Entreiß mein Leben dem Schwert, aus der Gewalt der Hunde mein einziges Gut!
I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
Rette mich vor dem Rachen des Löwen und vor den Hörnern der Büffel! — Du hast mir Antwort gegeben.
Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
Ich will deinen Namen meinen Brüdern verkünden, inmitten der Versammlung dich loben.
For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
Die ihr den HERRN fürchtet, lobt ihn; all ihr Nachkommen Jakobs, rühmt ihn; erschauert vor ihm, all ihr Nachkommen Israels!
My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
Denn er hat nicht verachtet, nicht verabscheut des Elenden Elend. Er hat sein Angesicht nicht verborgen vor ihm; er hat gehört, als er zu ihm schrie.
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
Von dir kommt mein Lobpreis in großer Versammlung, ich erfülle mein Gelübde vor denen, die ihn fürchten.
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
Die Armen sollen essen und sich sättigen; den HERRN sollen loben, die ihn suchen. Aufleben soll euer Herz für immer.
For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.
Alle Enden der Erde sollen daran denken und sich zum HERRN bekehren: Vor dir sollen sich niederwerfen alle Stämme der Nationen.
All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
Denn dem HERRN gehört das Königtum; er herrscht über die Nationen.
A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
Es aßen und warfen sich nieder alle Mächtigen der Erde. Alle, die in den Staub gesunken sind, sollen vor ihm sich beugen. Und wer sein Leben nicht bewahrt hat,
