Constructing the Ark
And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it:

And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about.
Innen und außen überzog er ihn mit reinem Gold und brachte auf der Oberseite ringsum eine goldene Zierleiste an.
And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
Dann goss er vier Ringe aus massivem Gold und befestigte sie an den vier unteren Ecken des Kastens, je zwei Ringe an jeder Längsseite.
And he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
Außerdem fertigte er Tragstangen aus Akazienholz an und überzog sie mit reinem Gold.
And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.
Sie wurden durch die Ringe an den Längsseiten des Kastens gesteckt, damit man ihn daran tragen konnte.
And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
Bezalel stellte auch die Deckplatte aus reinem Gold für den Kasten her, eineinviertel Meter lang und einen Dreiviertelmeter breit.
And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;
Er schmiedete zwei Keruben aus massivem Gold, die an den beiden Enden der Deckplatte standen. Die Platte und die beiden Engelfiguren waren aus einem Stück gearbeitet.
And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.
Die Engel breiteten ihre Flügel nach oben aus und beschirmten die Deckplatte, die Gesichter waren einander zugewandt und ihre Augen auf die Platte gerichtet.
The Table of Showbread

Als Nächstes fertigte Bezalel einen Tisch aus Akazienholz an: einen Meter lang, einen halben Meter breit und einen Dreiviertelmeter hoch.

Er überzog ihn mit reinem Gold und brachte ringsum eine goldene Zierleiste an.

An die Tischplatte setzte er eine 8 Zentimeter hohe Umrandung aus Gold, die auch ringsum mit einer goldenen Leiste verziert war.
And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof.
Nun goss er vier Ringe aus massivem Gold und brachte sie an den vier Seiten an, wo die Tischbeine anfingen.
Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table.
Er befestigte sie dicht unter der Goldumrandung. Die Ringe sollten die Stangen halten, mit denen man den Tisch trug.

Auch die Stangen fertigte Bezalel aus Akazienholz an und überzog sie mit Gold.
And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.
Schließlich stellte er noch die Gefäße her, die auf dem Tisch stehen sollten: die Schüsseln, Schalen, Opferschalen und Kannen, alle ebenfalls aus reinem Gold. Sie sollten beim Trankopfer verwendet werden.
The Lampstand
And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:

Dann fertigte Bezalel den Leuchter aus reinem Gold an. Fuß und Schaft waren geschmiedet, und am Schaft befanden sich Kelche in Form von Knospen und Blüten. Sie waren nicht aufgesetzt, sondern aus einem Stück mit dem Leuchter gearbeitet.
And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
Vom Schaft gingen sechs Seitenarme aus, drei nach jeder Seite.
Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick.
Jeder Arm war mit drei Kelchen verziert, die wie die Knospen und Blüten des Mandelbaums aussahen,
And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
der Schaft selbst mit vier solchen Kelchen.
And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
Drei davon waren jeweils unter den Ansätzen der Seitenarme angebracht.
Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
Die Seitenarme und Kelche waren wie der ganze Leuchter aus einem einzigen Stück reinem Gold geschmiedet.
And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
Aus reinem Gold fertigte Bezalel auch die sieben Lampen, die dazugehörigen Dochtscheren und die Schalen an.
Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
Für diese Gegenstände und den Leuchter verwendete er insgesamt 35 Kilogramm reines Gold.
The Altar of Incense
And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.

Nun baute Bezalel den Räucheropferaltar aus Akazienholz. Der Altar war quadratisch: einen halben Meter lang und ebenso breit. Seine Höhe betrug einen Meter. An den vier oberen Ecken ragten Hörner hervor. Sie waren nicht aufgesetzt, sondern Teil der Seitenwände.
And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
Die obere Platte, die Seitenwände und die vier Hörner überzog Bezalel mit reinem Gold, und an der Oberseite brachte er ringsum eine Goldleiste an.
And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
Er schmiedete zwei goldene Ringe und befestigte sie an beiden Seiten des Altars unterhalb der Zierleiste. Durch diese Ringe wurden Stangen gesteckt, damit man den Altar tragen konnte.

Die Stangen wurden aus Akazienholz angefertigt und mit Gold überzogen.
And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.
Bezalel bereitete auch das heilige Salböl zu, das gebraucht wurde, wenn ein Gegenstand oder eine Person dem Herrn geweiht wurde, sowie die wohlriechende Weihrauchmischung für das Räucheropfer. Dabei ging er wie ein erfahrener Salbenmischer vor.
