“They kneel down, they bring forth their young,

Wird dir der Wildstier dienen wollen, bleibt er an deiner Krippe zur Nacht?

Hältst du am Seil ihn in der Furche, pflügt er die Täler hinter dir her?
“Will you trust him because his strength is great

Sooft das Horn ertönt, wiehert es hui und wittert den Kampf schon von Weitem, der Anführer Lärm und das Geschrei.

Kommt es von deiner Einsicht, dass der Falke sich aufschwingt und nach Süden seine Flügel ausbreitet?

Auf Felsen wohnt und nächtigt er, auf der Felsenzacke und an steiler Wand.

Von dort erspäht er die Beute, seine Augen schauen ins Weite.
