Denn auf Glauben waren diese die vier obersten Torhüter. Und die Leviten waren über die Kammern und Schätze im Hause Gottes.

Nur die vier Aufseher über die Wache waren ständig in Jerusalem. Auch sie waren Leviten. Sie verwalteten außerdem die Vorratsräume und Schatzkammern des Tempels.

Denn ständig im Dienst waren nur die vier obersten Torwächter, sie waren Leviten. Sie hatten die Aufsicht über die Kammern und die Schätze im Haus Gottes.
