Hoffnung für Alle
Aber auch wir selbst, denen Gott bereits jetzt seinen Geist als Anfang des neuen Lebens gegeben hat, seufzen in unserem Innern. Denn wir warten voller Sehnsucht darauf, dass Gott uns als seine Kinder zu sich nimmt und auch unseren Körper von aller Vergänglichkeit befreit.

Nicht allein aber sie, sondern auch wir selbst, die wir haben des Geistes Erstlinge, sehnen uns auch bei uns selbst nach der Kindschaft und warten auf unsers Leibes Erlösung.

Aber nicht nur das, sondern auch wir, obwohl wir als Erstlingsgabe den Geist haben, auch wir seufzen in unserem Herzen und warten darauf, dass wir mit der Erlösung unseres Leibes als Söhne offenbar werden.
