Es ist besser in das Klagehaus gehen, denn in das Trinkhaus; in jenem ist das Ende aller Menschen, und der Lebendige nimmt’s zu Herzen.

Geh lieber in ein Haus, wo man trauert, als dorthin, wo gefeiert wird. Denn im Trauerhaus wird man daran erinnert, dass der Tod auf jeden Menschen wartet. Wer noch lebt, sollte sich dies zu Herzen nehmen!
